November 21-22, 2009 Every year, on the weekend before Thanksgiving, the wineries and distillery of Redwood Valley come together to give back to their loyal customers by having a holiday sale. Many of the fine wines and brandies are reduced by as much as 40%, thus allowing guests to purchase their favorite beverage just in time to stock up for gifts or their own holiday needs. Bring your own glass for tasting, and be prepared to sample award-winning wines, liquers, brandies, etc., holiday treats, and listen to music at some of the participating wineries and distillery. It will truly be a great weekend to put you in the holiday mood. The event has been extended to two days this year for your shopping convenience. Hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on November 21, and 22, 2009. Barra of Mendocino will again be holding its two-day Holiday Juried Artisan Faire of Mendocino artists, so stop by and find unique gifts to fill your holiday list.
