Come celebrate with us !

A Taste of Redwood Valley invites old friends and new to join us for our three annual festivals in northern California's Mendocino County.

Most of our wineries are too small to keep regular tasting room hours, so this is a rare opportunity to taste the wines and catch a behind-the-scenes glimpse of our small producers. Redwood Valley is in Mendocino County, a little more than two hours from both San Francisco and I-5.

"In Love with Redwood Valley"
A Day of Wine, Spirits, and Chocolate

Sat, Feb. 13, 2010
(day before Valentine's Day)
11 - 5 pm.

For nineteen years the wine and spirit makers of Redwood Valley have joined together in a now-famous coalition, "A Taste of Redwood Valley," to host wine-tasting and vineyard-gazing festivals. This year a new festival has been added to the line-up. "In Love with Redwood Valley – A Day of Wine, Spirits, and Chocolate" will warm the hearts of wine and chocolate lovers far and wide on Saturday, February 13, 2010. The festival has been listed as an "Esteemed Wine and Chocolate Event" in Via Magazine.

Professional chocolatiers will be on hand at many of the wineries to fine-tune pairings of premier wines, ports, brandies, and liqueurs with designer chocolates. Golden Bean's scrumptious organic and fair trade chocolates, including coconut, macadamia, and golden raisin favorites, will be on the table.  Leonidas Belgian chocolates, fine dark as well as milk chocolates from Mendocino Chocolate Company, Bissinger’s towers of limoncello, café mocha and crème brulee as well as many other winemaker's selections will round out the offerings. Guests will pay $15 for admission to all the wineries and the distillery and will receive a complimentary engraved glass.

Redwood Valley is a beautiful 2-hour drive from both the San Francisco Bay Area and I-5. It is just off Hwy.101 between Ukiah and Willits. Take Hwy 101 north of Ukiah to West Road (exit #557), show up at any participating winery, and get a map to all the others. Some are close to 101 and others are tucked deep in our lovely valley. Refer to our Map page for more detailed directions.
