Come celebrate with us !

A Taste of Redwood Valley invites old friends and new to join us for our three annual festivals in northern California's Mendocino County.

Most of our wineries are too small to keep regular tasting room hours, so this is a rare opportunity to taste the wines and catch a behind-the-scenes glimpse of our small producers. Redwood Valley is in Mendocino County, a little more than two hours from both San Francisco and I-5.

Our next event... JUNE 15-17, 2012

You may order tickets online or purchase them at the event.

21st Annual

Father's Day Dinner & Tasting Weekend

Friday, Saturday, Sunday - June 15-17, 2012

In Celebration of the 21st year of holding "A Taste of Redwood Valley" the event has been reconfigured to give you a true wine weekend experience.

This year, the eight wineries and a brandy distillery of Redwood Valley are offering you the "Focus on Experience" winemaker dinner on Friday, June 15th, at Frey Vineyards. Your senses will first be awakened when you taste the fine wines paired with sumptuous hors d'oeuvres while wandering through the raised-bed herb garden. Under Marie Abranya's instruction, you will experience how wine can even pair with those heady-smelling plants. Experience the making of fresh, homemade flatbread baked in an outdoor brick oven and slathered with sundried tomato butter. Next, a lavish buffet prepared from the finest Mendocino County ingredients will be served. Please peruse the menu below and salivate. At the end of the meal, along with dessert, guests will be served Germain-Robin brandy, muscat canelli and port.

New this year: Music for enjoyment and dancing will be provided by The Felt Tips, a local band that makes toes tap anywhere they are playing. This will be part of the evening you will definitely want to experience.

Then on Saturday & Sunday, visitors can meander along the back roads of Redwood Valley to each winery and distillery to taste library wines, unusual varietals, small production lots and experience the fun of tasting right out of the barrel. Guests will enjoy plentiful offerings of food, live music, and local farmers' market stands. Each winery is family owned and is unique in its setting, wine and food presentations, and welcoming ambiance. Visit with the winemaker, vintner or grower, and listen to their stories, ask technical questions and experience the wines of a truly unique appellation.
